The University of Tasmania (Graduate Research Office, Research Division) helps higher degree by research students unleash their potential by supporting their career, education, training and employment through the offering of a Graduate Research scholarship portfolio including Commonwealth funded Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships, University funded Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarships and donor funded scholarships (in total more than $15 million p.a.).

Purpose.
The University of Tasmania (Graduate Research Office) supports students to undertake high quality research and is responsible for the administration of candidature management including the Graduate Research scholarship portfolio, consisting of Commonwealth funded Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships, University funded Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarships (TGRS) and donor funded scholarships.
